Right of withdrawal

Return & Replacement Policy

Our products are individually produced for you using the print-on-demand process. Therefore, we can only offer returns or exchanges in exceptional cases.

Return or replacement is possible if:

  • the product arrives damaged,

  • an incorrect item was delivered,

  • the print is faulty or incorrectly placed.

In these cases, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order by email at info@theselfmadeway.de and include photos of the defect. We will then offer you either a free replacement or a refund of the purchase price.

Important:
We do not accept returns or refunds for dissatisfaction, incorrect size, or a change of mind. Therefore, please check the size charts carefully before ordering.

Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers within the meaning of the law (any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for primarily private purposes) generally have a statutory right of withdrawal. However, we would like to point out that for goods produced individually for you (print-on-demand), withdrawal is excluded according to Section 312g Paragraph 2 of the German Civil Code (BGB), provided none of the aforementioned defects exist.

Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. This period shall be 14 days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier designated by you received the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., by letter or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments you have made, including delivery costs (except for additional costs for a delivery method other than the standard delivery offered by us), promptly and no later than 14 days from receipt of your cancellation. For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original payment, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event no later than 14 days from the date of notification of cancellation. You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss of value if this loss of value is due to unnecessary handling of the goods.

Exclusion of revocation

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods,

  • which are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or

  • which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

This applies to our print-on-demand products.
